Sara + Ale's Ireland Elopement

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland Elopement

Nominee for Junebug Choice Awards: Best Elopement 2018

Sara and Alejandra traveled all the way from Midwest, USA to Liscannor village in Co. Clare, Ireland to marry one another.

The two got ready together in a small yurt and took their time doing their hair and makeup. Pre-wedding nerves were settled by a celebratory round of family tequila shots and donuts, made fresh in Dublin that morning.
Reception first, ceremony second.

Next stop was the family-owned llama farm next door.

Because when you elope in freaking Ireland, you can do whatever you want on whatever timeline feels right.

Sara and Ale chose to walk themselves down the “aisle” (or in this case, cliff) overlooking the ocean.
Family was all they needed to say their vows: one brother officiated and the other played guitar, while Sara’s sister, Becca, shot video behind-the scenes.

No unity candles here.
Only a just-married, half-and-half unity drink.

Sara and Ale, thank you for inviting us into such a special day with you. It means the world to be a part of such intimate moments that you’ll remember for the rest of your lives. May marriage be forever a joy and become the greatest blessing.
